Mike Ford

Mike anchors morning drive on KEAG 97.3 FM (KOOL 97.3) a popular radio station in Anchorage, AK. His colorful broadcasting career began about four decades ago in Nome, AK and has enjoyed entertaining Alaskans on the radio ever since. Mike also spent time on the radio in Seattle Washington where he had a top rated evening request show. Mike grew up in The Puget Sound Area garnering a degree in broadcasting from LH Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington.

If you could only take 5 things with you to a deserted island, what would you bring?  Water, Hammock, Sun Block, Radio and a Fishing rod.

Are you passionate about a cause or charity? Yes, I am a big advocate for Special Olympics and Hope Community Resources, both organizations my daughter is involved with.
